Today, this Samba School has almost 100 members, dancers, percussionists and luxurious carnival costumes combined.
Escola de Samba Unidos de Miami
Formed in 1995, it all began
with a dream and rapidly became internationally known, being hired to perform at the
opening of Nike-Brasil World Tour in Miami (Brazil x Mexico), then in Osaka, Japan (Brazil
x Japan) and Seoul, South Korea (Brazil x Korea).
Unidos de Miami was also part of the 48th Annual Birmingham Festival of the Arts, in Alabama.
Today, this Samba School has almost 100 members, dancers, percussionists
and luxurious carnival costumes combined.
Joining the percussionists is a group of Brazilian dancers in their dazzling costumes and joyous display of beauty and samba dancing. Together they make the greatest popular party in the whole world... the Carnival!
